Dear Wearable Artists and Friends:

We have organized a unique cruise seminar for those of you creating your own wearable art, including handbags, couture jackets, and more! If you “paint with fabric” to create your own wearable art garments and accessories, this is the seminar for you!

CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Five fantastic Wearable Art teachers
  • Unique rotational class format ensuring
    time with every instructor!
  • A fabulous Holland America cruise
  • Bernina Sewing Machines to use
  • “QuiltWorks Northwest at Sea” shop aboard
  • Autograph party with the instructors
  • “Welcome Aboard” party
  • Fashion Show at the “farewell” party
  • Accessories Challenge Contest
  • Shopping at unique shops in every port
  • Souvenir Tote Bag

Our classes are held during out “at sea” days and the rotational format assures each student instruction from each of five award winning teachers:

June Colburn, Rosemary Eichorn, Cathie Hoover, Barbara Randle and Linda Teufel

While in port, you can be a carefree tourist, search for treasures to use for our “Accessories Challenge” or just relax on the ship, our floating hotel, the gracious ms Oosterdam!

The ms Oosterdam has a conference center so we will have a special place for our classes. We will be bringing new Bernina sewing machines for you to use. You can even go home with one! Stacy Baumeister, owner of QuiltWorks Northwest is making this possible for us. Stacy will also be operating the “QuiltWorks Northwest” shop at sea, complete with fabric, notions and related publications.

If you’ve wanted to share your wearable art creativity with others in a supportive environment, gather new ideas and learn new techniques, this seminar is for you! Bring a friend, your spouse or your family -- non-sewers are welcome to join us! We will make them feel especially welcome and there’s plenty for them to do while you are in class!

We look forward to seeing you onboard the ms Oosterdam in 2008!

Cordially,

June Colburn, Rosemary Eichorn, Cathie Hoover, Barbara Randle and Linda Teufel
