Class Program
We have designed a unique class format that allows each student
to rotate to all of the instructors over the course of the weeklong cruise.
From each instructor you will have an opportunity to learn a different technique
or improve your existing skills.
Our instructors have all excelled in the Wearable Art field and bring extensive
experience to this seminar. This unique opportunity to spend a week with FIVE extraordinary teachers aboard an elegant floating resort, the cruise ship ms
Oosterdam, will enhance your sewing and design skills as well as enriching
your life with newfound friends sharing a common interest. This enthusiastic
group of teachers was chosen because they are all exceptional instructors who
are friendly, fun-loving and warm. They are internationally/nationally known
for their excellent teaching skills, have won prestigious awards for their
work and/or are authors of published books. Look inside for a brief overview
of each teacher.
Our conference center aboard ship allows for the unique opportunity to host
six class sessions. For the first five sessions, you will rotate with your
group and spend three hours per instructor. In the final session, you will
have three hours to spend as you choose talking with each instructor to gain
the final information, directions, or inspiration for your various Wearable
Art projects.
Two classrooms will feature a variety of sewing machines for your use during
that class time. The sewing machines will also be available for “open
sewing” so you can pursue your projects on your own time if desired.
