  • The Pride of Hawaii will be our “floating hotel” to tour the islands of Hawaii. We will be in port overnight in both Kahului, Maui and Nawiliwili Kauai, and our quilting classes will be held the second day we are in each of these ports along with a half day while sailing between Kona and Kauai. There are a wide variety of classes from which to choose, taught by seven of the most talented, well-known teachers in the quilting business. While in port, you can be a carefree tourist, choosing your pleasure whether it be walking, touring, kayaking or shopping! Or you can just relax on the ship and enjoy NCL’s “Freestyle Cruising” which allows you to dine in all of the on-board restaurants when and where you wish.

While in port, you can be a carefree tourist, choosing your pleasure whether it be walking, touring, kayaking or shopping! Or you can just relax on the ship, our floating hotel.

The Pride of Hawaii has a conference center so we will have a special place for our classes. We will be bringing new BERNINA sewing machines for you to use. You can even go home with a wonderful buy on a new BERNINA! Lucy and Eddie Mansfield, owners of “The Quilt Scene” in Miami, Florida are making this possible for us. They will also be operating our “Quilt Scene at Sea” quilt shop during our cruise.

For all of you that have sailed with us before, we would welcome you back and for those of you that are just joining us, we look forward to getting to know you and to sharing our Quilt Celebration 2007 seminar in Hawaii with you. Bring a friend, your spouse or your family—non-quilters are welcome to join us! Husbands enjoy the fishing excursions, golf and other sports oriented shore excursions in Hawaii and there’s plenty for companions to do on the ship while you are quilting!

Quilt Celebration participants had a wonderful time in Hawaii in 2004, and we are looking forward to returning to the islands for another great experience. We hope you can join us!

    Sincerely,
Alex Anderson, Joen Wolfrom, Elly Sienkiewicz, Darra Williamson, Mary Sorensen, Cindy Walter and Hawaii’s own Mary Haunani Cesar
