PORTS OF CALL
Immerse yourself in two worlds, from charming New England ports to the French
flair of Quebec and Montreal—just as fall foliage colors the coast
in stunning oranges, yellows and reds. Indulge on local lobster and clam
chowder while learning about the rich culture of the Northeast, as the deep
blue waters take you from exciting New York City to Boston, the cradle of
American history. Then we sail north to Bar Harbor, Maine, the quintessential
New England coastal town, and on to Nova Scotia where tiny villages huddle
in rocky inlets. After visiting Prince Edward Island, we cruise up the wildlife-rich
St. Lawrence River to the Saguenay Fjord and on to quaint Quebec where you
can explore this noble, walled city that speaks with more than just a slight
French accent. After we arrive in Montreal, you can extend your stay in
this partly English, mostly French, completely intriguing city. All this
and quilting too while we cruise between these fantastic ports!
Optional shore excursions are available in each port of call.
(Situations may arise which, in the opinion of Holland America, make it
necessary to make changes in itinerary or other travel components.) |
