Dear Quilting Friend,

We have been wanting to plan a fall foliage trip through the East Coast and Canada for years, and we finally have the right itinerary to include our Quilt Celebration seminar! We’d love to have you join us for this special ten day sailing from New York to Montreal. We’ll cruise on Holland America Line’s wonderful ship the ms Veendam which is designed to carry fewer guests than other cruise ship in her class, offering guests an onboard experience defined by spacious comfort.

CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS
  • Six fantastic quilting teachers
  • Numerous class choices
  • A fabulous Holland America cruise
  • “Quilt Scene at Sea” shop aboard
  • Autograph party with the instructors
  • “Welcome Aboard” party
  • Show & Tell at the “farewell” party
  • Challenge Block Contest
  • Shopping at quilt shops in ports
  • Souvenir Tote Bag
  • Our classes are held during our scenic cruising days. There are a wide variety of classes from which to choose, taught by six of the most award winning, renown instructors in the world of quilting:
Alex Anderson, Joen Wolfrom, Christine Porter, Mary Sorensen, Paula Nadelstern and Laura Nownes

While in port, you can explore the fantastic, historic ports of call while drinking in the fabulous fall foliage colors. Or, you can just relax on the ship, our floating hotel.

The ms Veendam has a conference center so we will have a special place for our classes as well as for our onboard quilt shop.  Lucy and Eddie Mansfield, owners of The Quilt Scene in Miami, Florida will be operating our "Quilt Scene At Sea" quilt shop during our cruise.

We have had a wonderful response already as news has been spread that this trip was being organized, so it will be important to book early to obtain space on the ship and have the best chose of quilt classes. Bring a friend, your spouse or your family – non-quilters are welcome to join us! We try to make them feel especially welcome and there’s plenty for them to do while you are quilting!

We are really looking forward to enjoying this wonderful fall itinerary, and we hope you can join us!

    Sincerely,
Alex Anderson, Joen Wolfrom, Christine Porter, Mary Sorensen, Paula Nadelstern, Laura Nownes
