2018 Tahiti and Marquesas Quilt Cruise

Dear quilters and friends,

2018 brings us back to a much loved destination for two weeks in magical Tahiti and the Marquesas Islands! You'll be part of a warm group of fun-loving people who share a common interest in quilting. You'll have the pleasure of making new quilting friends and enjoying "sewcial" activities such as a "Welcome Aboard" party, a Challenge Block contest and a Show & Tell at the "farewell" party. You will also have the opportunity to perfect your quilting skills. There are a variety of classes from which to choose, taught by two of the most renowned instructors in the world of quilting: Karen Combs and Kathy McNeil.

Luxury cruising at its finest

We'll sail out of Papeete, Tahiti on the wonderful m/s Paul Gauguin! You'll discover the joy of sailing on an intimate and ultra-luxurious vessel while enjoying fine dining and the amenities of a 5 star resort. While onboard, this all inclusive cruise experience includes gratuities, beverages including select wines, spirits, soft drinks, bottled water and hot beverages. Your refrigerator is replenished daily with soft drinks, beer and bottled water. You will have access to the onboard water sports marina for complimentary kayaking, windsurfing, waterskiing and Zodiacs for dive excursions. You will visit Paul Gauguin's private beach on Bora Bora and the private islet of Motu Mahana.

A uniquely beautiful experience

Natural beauty is on display everywhere you look on this two-week journey through the Marquesas, Tuamotus, and the Society Islands. This itinerary offers plenty of time to explore at your own pace, from the pristine beaches and exceptional diving of the Tuamotu Archipelago to the Marquesas Islands of Fatu Hiva, Hiva Oa, Tahuata, and Nuku Hiva, all of which are as rich in culture as they are in rugged, natural beauty.

This cruise is the perfect opportunity to share something very special with your spouse, your family or a friend– non-quilters are always welcome to join us and will have many activities to pursue while you are in class.

For all of you that have sailed with us before – welcome back! For those of you that are new to the fabulous experience of quilting at sea, we look forward to getting to know you and creating lasting memories.

We hope that you will join us on this sensational cruise!

Sincerely,
Karen Combs and Kathy McNeil
