Dear quilters and friends,
2020 brings us back to Europe to experience a fabulous cruise to Western Europe's best ports! We'll sail on Holland America Line's beautiful ship, the ms Zuiderdam departing from Rome, Italy.
We begin our trip in the ancient city of Rome, Italy. We'll set sail for Spain to see the many ancient ruins and museums in Cartegena, visit Cadiz and Seville with their rich maritime history and visit British Territory and the Rock of Gibralter with it's resident monkeys. Visit Portugal's fabulous capitol city, Lisbon, and Leixoes, where you can try some of their famous port wines. See the Normandy Beaches in France, beautiful Brussels and the canals and windmills of Amsterdam. End the journey in Copenhagen, gateway to Scandinavia. What a great way to take a break from everyday life while enjoying 5-star service and the company of fellow quilters!
Our quilt classes are held during our "at sea" days. As usual, we bring you a variety of classes from which to choose, taught by four award-winning, renowned instructors in the world of quilting: Paula Nadelstern, Kathy McNeil, Rosa Rojas and Olga Gonzalez. You'll be part of a warm group of fun-loving people who share a common interest in quilting. You'll have the pleasure of making new friends and joining in on "sewcial" activities, including a "Welcome Aboard" party, a Challenge Block contest and a Show & Tell at the "farewell" party.
This trip will sell out fast, so book early! We have had a list of quilters interested in booking this trip even before it was organized. Consider bringing a friend, your spouse or your family – non-quilters are always welcome to join us and will have many activities to pursue while you are in class. We hope you can join us!
We can’t wait to see you on board the beautiful ms Zuiderdam!
