Dear Quilting Friend,

Good news, we are returning to Alaska on July 21, 2007! We’d love to have you join us for this special seven day sailing from Seattle to/from Alaska. We’ll cruise on Holland America Line’s wonderful Vista Class ship the ms Oosterdam. As a member of our quilt seminar at sea, you’ll be part of a warm group of fun-loving people sharing it’s common interest in quilting, and have an opportunity to make new friends, one quilter at a time!

CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS
  • Five fantastic quilting teachers
  • Numerous class choices
  • A fabulous Holland America cruise
  • Bernina Sewing Machines to use
  • "Quilt Scene at Sea" quilt store
  • Autograph party with the instructors
  • "Welcome Aboard" party
  • Show & Tell at the "farewell" party
  • Challenge Block Contest
  • Shopping at quilt shops in every port
  • Souvenir Tote Bag
  • Our classes are held during our “at sea” days. There are a wide variety of classes from which to choose, taught by five of the most renown instructors in the world of quilting:
Charolotte Warr Andersen, Karen Kay Buckley, Linda Jenkins, Sharon Pederson and Mary Lou Weidman

While in port, you can be a carefree tourist, choosing your pleasure whether it be walking, touring, kayaking or shopping! Or you can just relax on the ship, our floating hotel.

The ms Oosterdam has a conference center so we will have a special place for our classes. We will be bringing new Bernina sewing machines for you to use. You can even go home with a wonderful buy on a new Bernina. Lucy and Eddie Mansfield, owners The Quilt Scene, are making this possible for us! They will also be operating our “Quilt Scene At Sea” quilt shop during our cruise.

For all of you that have sailed with us before, we would welcome you back, and for those of you that are just joining us, we look forward to getting to know you and to sharing Alaska Quilt Seminar at Sea 2007 with you. Bring a friend, your spouse or your family – non-quilters are welcome to join us! We try to make them feel especially welcome and there’s plenty for them to do while you are quilting!

We are really looking forward to returning to Alaska for another Quilt Seminar at Sea, and we hope you can join us!

    Sincerely,
Charlotte Warr Andersen, Karen Kay Buckley, Linda Jenkins, Sharon Pederson and Mary Lou Weidman
