Dear Quilters and Friends,
One of our favorite destinations is Alaska, and we’re looking forward to returning again in August of 2014. Join us for this special seven day sailing roundtrip from Seattle. We’ll cruise on Holland America Line’s wonderful Vista Class ship, the ms Westerdam. You’ll be part of a warm group of fun-loving people sharing a common interest in quilting, and have an opportunity to make new friends, one quilter at a time!
Our classes are held during "at sea" days and we make every attempt to schedule classes outside of port time. There are a wide variety of classes from which to choose, taught by three of the most renown instructors in the world of quilting:
Laura Wasilowski, Marjan Kluepfel and Kimberly Einmo!
- Four fantastic quilting instructors
- Numerous class choices
- A fabulous Holland America cruise
- Bernina sewing machines to use
- Autograph party with the instructors
- Souvenir tote bag
- "Welcome Aboard" party
- Shopping at quilt shops in every port
- Show & tell at the "farewell" party
- Challenge block contest
- Open sewing and eventing "sewcials"
- Door prizes
There’s something wonderful awaiting you in every port of call! You can play tourist, choosing your pleasure whether it be walking, touring, flight-seeing or shopping! All the ports we visit are right in town, and there is a lot to see within walking distance, including quilt shops in every port! Onboard ship you will have the opportunity to perfect your quilting skills with many class choices from our fabulous teachers, Awesome demos and workshops from our quilt shop, as well as myriad opportunities for "SEWCIALIZING" with other people who all share your love of quilting!
We will be bringing new Bernina sewing machines for your use. You can even go home with a wonderful buy on a new Bernina! Quilting Delights in Clackamas, OR is making this possible for us. They will also be operating our quilt shop on board the ms Westerdam for your shopping convenience during the quilt seminar at sea.
For all of you that have sailed with us before, welcome back! We will make them feel especially welcome and there’s plenty for them to do while you are quilting!
