Her full teaching schedule has taken her throughout the US as well as to many other countries and she is known for her enthusiasm, humor, and sincere encouragement of quiltmakers of all levels of skill and experience. Having done various forms of needlework throughout her life, Margaret learned to quilt and appliqué in l978. Her most recent book is called Angleplay Blocks, a book of 84 block designs and many quilts which feature the next classic shape in pieced quilts, the half-rectangle triangle. Margaret is known for her innovative work with this shape, and is the inventor of 'AnglePlayä' acrylic templates to facilitate rotary cutting and perfect piecing of this formerly 'difficult-to-sew' patchwork shape.
